Forrest Jackson, CEO and Bob Jackson, Founder
Our story begins in 1983 in Dallas, Texas with a retail pottery warehouse selling handmade and machine-made Italian pottery. We soon relocated and opened a full-scale retail garden center serving North Texas. Like many of our wholesale customers, we began selling plants, gift items, select outdoor furniture, and more. As appreciation for our pottery grew, we separated the wholesale from the retail garden center and formed Jackson Pottery (wholesale). Over 30 years later, Jackson Pottery continues to offer “Best in Class” pottery and planters from all over the world, including our own small batch manufactured line, Jackson Cast Stone.
We aim to become the preferred pottery and planter company in the United States, but it all starts with you. Our team is committed to your success and seeing you win every day. In addition to our nationwide customer base, we test our products at the retail level in our own store to get immediate feedback on colors, styles, and trends. We admit that this is an unfair advantage over our competitors. We like that, and you will too. Bring bold, fresh innovations to the market for your own repeat customers by choosing Jackson Pottery.
Every company tends to look like its founder. Growing up on an East Texas farm, Bob grew up selling fresh produce and developed a love for customer service and sales. That enjoyment shines through at our retail store, Jacksons Home and Garden, where Bob still takes an active role in the business over 30 years later. If you are ever in the Dallas area, stop by to enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience with us and spend a few minutes with Bob. He is always excited to meet our wholesale customers in person and thank you for your business.
Give cheerfully of our time and resources
Encourage excellence in all that we do
Practice honesty, sincerity and trustworthiness
Achieve greatness by working together towards a common goal
Build successful relationships by actively listening and seeking understanding
Great teams are formed with purpose, not by chance. We have worked diligently to get the right people involved in the right positions to help you be successful. For us this is about both ability and character. Like Zig Ziglar once said, “It’s hard to make a good deal with a bad guy (or gal)”. Along with these essential traits, we empower our employees to make an impact by giving them the resources and support for success. We invest in our carefully selected teams so that they, as well as our customers, can have winning careers.

Forrest Jackson is a second generation business owner who grew up working in the retail garden center delivering pottery, fountains, and flowers for the family business. Having a broad view over both the retail and wholesale business, he enjoys hearing stories of other people’s businesses and how they are achieving their dreams. He loves to spend time with his wife and three boys, as well as read, rock climb, and enjoy various outdoor activities. He received his bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in theology.
Starting in 2010 as the cast stone production manager, Dave has worn many hats. As EVP, he has a broad array of responsibilities ranging from inventory selection to the day-to-day overall direction of the wholesale company. His bachelor’s degree is in visual communications from the Art Institute of Colorado and Colorado Christian University. When he’s not working, he loves to spend time with his wife and two children, hike, snowboard, golf, play tennis, and create metal sculpture.
Dustin has an extensive background in leadership development and team building. He oversees our inside and outside sales teams for Jackson Pottery. He and his wife, Monica, have been married for 17 years and have two teenagers, Noah and Addison. They call Dallas home and enjoy getting together with family and friends. He loves Crossfit and helping with the local Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter.
Originally from Manchester, England, Nigel attended the University of Manchester and earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. With over 20 years management experience, he still says his favorite part about the job is the people he works with. He loves bringing out the best in people by giving them the confidence to show their true potential. Nigel is a worldwide traveler, and there are not many places on earth he hasn’t visited. A good bourbon and fine cigar suite him just fine for hobbies.
John grew up in Irving, Texas and graduated from UT, Austin with a degree in accounting and finance. He has long history as an accounting manager working for companies with iconic brands such as Haggar, Fieldcrest Cannon, Dr Pepper/7Up and Cadbury Schweppes. He loves to spend time with his wife and are both avid fans of traveling around the country and visiting national parks.
